The weather forecast looks favorable for outdoor graduation ceremonies for the class of 2023 this evening. However, you may want to bring an umbrella (just in case). ☺☂

CVHS Final Exams, Graduation and Summer School
Monday and Tuesday, May 15th and 16th are final exam days for our seniors. The daily schedule is a regular schedule for all students on both days.
Wednesday and Thursday, May 17th and 18th are final exam days for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. Both are early release days with students finishing at 12:05pm.
Wednesday, May 17th is graduation practice for our seniors. All seniors must have a graduation information sheet turned into the office before they can practice. Graduation practice begins at 8:00am. Seniors must practice or will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Thursday, May 18th is our graduation ceremony. Graduation ceremonies begin at 7:00pm at the football field.
Summer school begins on Tuesday, May 30 and concludes on Friday, June 16th from 8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday through Friday. This is a great opportunity for any student, who has failed classes, to recover lost credits. Students will have the opportunity to makeup an English, Math or Science class this summer and get back on track for graduation. Summer school is free of charge. We also offer online classes through the Edgenuity platform for students to get ahead in credits. You can contact the high school office at 928-567-8035 for more information on summer school. Thank you.
On Wednesday, May 3 in conjunction with the Sedona International Film Festival CVHS hosted a performance of the play "Every Brilliant Thing". It was a one-person play and completely interactive with students and staff. It follows the life of a young man who is compiling a list of brilliant things in his life that are worth living for. The play was well received by our students and staff.

Hello Camp Verde High School Families!
On Wednesday, May 3 Camp Verde High School in conjunction with the Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Camp Verde debut of the powerful, life-affirming and uplifting “Every Brilliant Thing” — a live theatrical production starring Michael Doherty sponsored by Health First Foundation Northern Arizona.
“Every Brilliant Thing” — by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe — is an award-winning, one-person play that The Guardian calls “heart-wrenching and hilarious … one of the funniest plays you’ll ever see about depression — and possibly one of the funniest plays you’ll ever see!”
Could you name a hundred things that make life wonderful? A thousand? How about a million?
You can view more specific information about the “Every Brilliant Thing” performance at:

Happy Paraprofessional Day! At CVUSD we have some of the very best!!!! Show our paraeducators some extra love today ♥
In the school sector, paraprofessional educators are also known as teacher’s aides, paraeducators, para-pros, and classroom assistants. These fantastic people deliver targeted support to students who may need extra help and work to maintain the classroom, keeping it running smoothly. Paraprofessionals are unsung heroes of the education system. Paraprofessionals help shoulder some of the enormous workloads and allow teachers to focus on what they do best - teach!
Paraprofessional Appreciation Day seeks to bring these professionals to the forefront and show them a little extra love for all the incredible work they do, day in and day out.
Thank you CVUSD Paraprofessionals!
