In Memory of Sharon “Jill” Ray
It is with heavy hearts we are letting our community know that our colleague Ms. Sharon "Jill" Ray passed away unexpectedly at home yesterday 11/11/24.
Sharon was a valued member of our Middle School staff and worked closely with our Life Skills students. She was kind, creative, hard-working, and went above and beyond for her students. Sharon was always willing to help wherever she was needed and will be terribly missed.
If your student was close to Ms. Ray and is in need of support, please contact student counselor Ms. Boland.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Sharon's family, friends, and all who were close to her.
CVHS TAG is adding a special performance of their fall show, "Blithe Spirit" by Noel Coward tomorrow, WEDNESDAY night beginning at 6:30 pm. Anyone coming dressed as a Ghost Guest will receive $2 off their admission. We will also be offering our final performances on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available at the door.

Our music teacher, Ms. Emily Millhouse, and her Strings students made a float and performed in the Fort Verde Days Parade this morning . We are so proud of you!
A big thank you to Camp Verde Ace Hardware for their donation toward this beautiful new shed for our new CVMS Garden Club. The students now have a place to store tools and supplies while they begin the hard work of cleaning up our old garden space. We appreciate you and your support! 🪴☀️

We invite you to join the Camp Verde Marshals and the Yavapai-Apache Police for the National Night Out this Thursday, October 10th. This fun community event will feature food, games, prizes, and more! Everything will be set up at the school district office parking lot, located at 410 Camp Lincoln Road, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
