We want to thank our maintenance and custodial workers for keeping up the buildings and grounds at Camp Verde Unified School District. WE WOULD BE A MESS WITHOUT THEM! When we get visitors who frequent other schools, we get so many compliments on our facilities. People cannot believe the age of our facilities. We credit that to these folks. These people are dedicated and incredible contributors to our system. THANK YOU, MAINTENANCE WORKERS! ♥

The Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts Foundation will sponsor a special free program titled, Telescopes Around (And Out Of) This World. The program is scheduled for Sunday, March 5, at 3:00 pm and will be presented by Dr. Jeffrey Hall, Executive Director of Lowell Observatory. Camp Verde Middle School has 6h, 7th, and 8th grade English Language Arts Textbooks on display in the District Office. School resumes on January 3rd. There is so much to learn, it is very exciting! Parents, here are some helpful tips to ease the transition from the holiday festivities back to school time: - Adjust your child’s bedtime gradually several days before the first day back. - Keep them busy with extra physical activity before going back to school. This helps with back-to-school jitters and nervous energy. - Talk to your child about what they can expect the first day back to help to build excitement and ease anxiety. Come support the Camp Verde Cowboys Boys and Girls Basketball teams today as they play in the Annual Yvonne Johnson Tournament competing with teams from around the State. This morning's games are back-to-back in the Middle School Gymnasium. The Boys will battle Lee Williams of Kingman at 10:30 AM, followed by the lady Cowboys at 12:00 PM competing against Red Mesa. Games continue throughout the day at CVHS, CVMS, and the CV Community Center. ( See the bracket attached.)

Dear Camp Verde Unified School District Parents, Guardians, and Community Members, As we finish up our first semester of the school year, we are looking forward to a brief break, but also excited for the learning accomplished and enthusiastic about the future. We thank you for entrusting to us your children. Also, thank you to so many community members and organizations for your collaboration with us in the task of Providing students a safe and caring environment in which knowledge, skills, and attitudes enable learners to become productive citizens. – CVUSD Vision. It takes a village. It is a very important and mutual task, helping to build bright futures and instill much hope in the coming generations. We could not accomplish this without you partnering with us. Thank you for doing your best!
