This year, our elementary school is excited to launch Breakfast in the Classroom! Students can enjoy a healthy breakfast with their classmates each morning, helping them begin the day focused, energized, and ready to learn. Breakfast will be served in classrooms at the beginning of the school day, making it convenient and welcoming for all students.

School may be taking a summer break, but hungry tummies don’t! That’s why Camp Verde Unified School District and Southwest Foodservice Excellence are teaming up to bring FREE Summer Meals To-Go for all kiddos 18 & under during the month of June! 🎉
Families can swing by each Thursday and pick up 5 days’ worth of breakfast AND lunch for every child in the family. 🍓🥪🥛

Your child may be able to get extra help with groceries this summer! ☀️
Have you heard about SUN Bucks (Summer EBT)? It’s a program that helps families with school-aged children buy food when free or reduced-price school meals aren’t available during summer break.
Eligible children can receive $120 to use on groceries. If your child already receives benefits such as SNAP, MA-Free, TANF, FDPIR or similar assistance, you will automatically receive the $120 per child on an EBT card—no application is needed. You only need to apply if you are not currently receiving these benefits but believe you may qualify based on your income. The deadline to apply is August 3, 2026. We’re happy to share that school will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28. The water issue has been resolved, and buses and class schedules will run as usual.

The district water main is currently out, and school will be closed tomorrow, Monday, April 27.
We expect to resume classes on Tuesday, April 28. Extracurricular activities away from campus will continue as scheduled; however, no activities will take place on campus on Monday.

Howdy Folks! 🤠 In an effort to keep kiddos fed while school is out, CVUSD and our Food Service Management Company, SFE, are excited to announce we will be providing FREE Meals To-Go this summer during the month of June for all kids 18 and younger. All families are welcome to pick up 5 days of breakfast and lunch for each child in the family.
