Welcome Back, CVUSD Families! School starts Wednesday, August 6th! We’re excited to kick off another great school year and are committed to supporting every student’s success, including providing nutritious meals every day! We’re thrilled to share that, once again, all enrolled students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch daily through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, offered through the Arizona Department of Education. No application is needed, just come and eat! Your child’s participation helps strengthen our meal program and supports our entire school community. There are no income or enrollment requirements, and any child age 18 and younger may come to eat. (Children must be accompanied by an adult) *Adults may purchase Breakfast for $3.00 and Lunch for $4.75 cash only* Breakfast and Lunch starting June 2nd through June 20th! Monday through Friday! Breakfast 7:30 am to 8:30 am and Lunch 11:30 am to 12:30 pm! 📞 Still have questions? 📢 Great News for Families! ☀️ This summer, a one-time benefit of $120 per eligible child will be issued through the SUN Bucks program to help families buy groceries while school is out. Many students automatically qualify if they already receive state benefits like SNAP or Medicaid. Families that do not receive those state benefits can fill out the 2025 SUN Bucks Household Application through the Arizona Department of Education to determine if they qualify for the program. Due to staff shortages today in Transportation:
If your child rides bus 41, 44, or 26. Please note that your children may be arriving home 25 to 30 minutes late due to unforeseen and an emergency staff shortage in Transportation. Please be patient with us, we WILL get ALL students home. Thank you.
