Your child may be able to get extra help with groceries this summer! ☀️

Have you heard about SUN Bucks (Summer EBT)? It’s a program that helps families with school-aged children buy food when free or reduced-price school meals aren’t available during summer break.

Eligible children can receive $120 to use on groceries. If your child already receives benefits such as SNAP, MA-Free, TANF, FDPIR or similar assistance, you will automatically receive the $120 per child on an EBT card—no application is needed. You only need to apply if you are not currently receiving these benefits but believe you may qualify based on your income. The deadline to apply is August 3, 2026. Howdy Folks! 🤠 In an effort to keep kiddos fed while school is out, CVUSD and our Food Service Management Company, SFE, are excited to announce we will be providing FREE Meals To-Go this summer during the month of June for all kids 18 and younger. All families are welcome to pick up 5 days of breakfast and lunch for each child in the family.

📅 Pick-Up Days: Every Thursday in June - 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
⏰ Pick-Up Times: 9:00–11:00 AM

If your child is in ELEMENTARY School and rides the ORANGE bus to Sierra
Verde Trailer Park . The bus will be about 15-20 minutes behind to that stop. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.

We would like to inform you that one of our school buses experienced a mechanical issue prior to the departure of the elementary school students, which caused a delay in arrival home. The bus was safely unloaded at the elementary school and all students were transferred to another bus safely and efficiently .

For those of you who experienced the delay on Montezuma Castle Highway. Please note that THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT OR ANYONE IN DANGER. We quickly reached out to the Camp Verde Marshalls Office and the Camp Verde Fire Dept. to help with directing traffic while we maneuvered the bus back to the Transportation Dept. A HUGE THANK YOU for their fast and quick response in helping us. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
