The Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts Foundation is partnering with the Verde Valley Archaeology Center in presenting the Storytellers Cinema: Showcasing Archaeology and Indigenous Films, in association with Native American Heritage Month. The aim of the Storytellers Cinema is to present archaeology and Indigenous history to the general public through films made by archaeologists and Indigenous people, assuring the promotion and the spreading of these films. The Cinema offers a broad range and varied programs featuring films of differing lengths focusing on different periods and themes, but all with one thing in common: to discover and preserve our shared heritage.
The 2022 Cinema will be held from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13, at the Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts, 210 Camp Lincoln Road, Camp Verde. Each day offers a feature film and several short subjects. Friday and Saturday starts at 7:00 pm and Sunday is a matinee starting at 3:00 pm.

Just in time for Halloween, the 1977 film made in Camp Verde, the "Kingdom of the Spiders" is being hosted at CVUSD by the Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts Foundation, on October 30, at 3 PM.

Dear Camp Verde Families, We would like to inform you this morning Camp Verde High School went into a precautionary lock down as advised by the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office. There was a potential situation with one of our students. The CVMO determined to have CVHS go into lockdown to be better be safe than sorry. At no time did the student threaten the high school or students at the high school. School has since resumed as normal. These types off lockdowns are good learning opportunities and paramount for our students and staff, in order to ensure the safety of our campuses in the event of an actual emergency.
