The 1st Friday Camp was a success!
Tomorrow, January 23rd is our first Friday Camp of the 2nd Semester. If your child signed up, they need to be here by 8am and picked up at 12pm.
🧥 Lost & Found Alert, CVES Parents! 🧥
We are already overflowing with jackets in our Lost & Found! We know mornings are chilly and afternoons warm up, but many jackets are being left behind and not making it home.
Please remind your child to check the Lost & Found regularly. Parents are also welcome to come take a look between 3:15–4:30 PM.
Let’s help those jackets find their way back home! 💙👕

On 1/6, we proudly celebrated our English Language Learning students who worked incredibly hard and passed the state AZELLA assessment, officially graduating from the ELL program! 📚👏 We are so proud of their dedication, perseverance, and growth.
A HUGE shout-out to our amazing staff who made this celebration possible:

📘 Mrs. Meyer for supporting our 2nd graders

🦌🎄 Another Fun Event Before Winter Break! 🎄🦌
One of the highlights before Winter Break was our PTO Annual Reindeer Run! Students had a blast running to festive, themed music and were rewarded with candy canes at the finish line. 🍬✨
We saw some seriously athletic students out there—it was a true race for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! 🏃♂️🏃♀️👏
A huge THANK YOU to our PTO for making events like this possible and for always being there to support our students and staff. We appreciate you! 💙🎉

Our kindergarten students were absolutely adorable—dressed to impress and singing their hearts out! Their songs are still being sung around campus, and it brought so much joy to everyone who attended.
🎶 A HUGE thank you to Erica Crittenden for making this performance possible and for teaching our students their songs. Another big thank you to our Kinder teachers for all the practice, encouragement, and for keeping the music playing every day!

🐾 Tuesday: Staff brought out their inner animal for Animal Print Day
🎒 Wednesday: It looked like there were only students on campus for Dress Like a Student Day
🎅✨ Thursday: The campus was extra festive for Everything Christmas Day, along with our Character Strong celebrations!
The students had so much fun guessing the theme each day and joining in all the excitement. We love the joy and school spirit on our campus! 💛🎄
🎄✨ Also, next week is Christmas Spirit Week! Staff and students—dress up in your Christmas attire and join the fun! 🎅🎁
